Overloaded Classes

When creating sections for scheduling, each section can be set to close at max enrollment. Your school may choose not to mark courses to close at max enrollment, so that demand for a particular course can be fully understood. If this is the case in your school, you will need to run the Overloaded Classes report and some of the students from each overloaded course will either need to be moved into a different course or new sections of the overloaded course will need to be create to accommodate the additional demand.

  1. Click on Extended Reports from the navigation menu
  2. Click on the Scheduling tab
  3. Click on the report labeled Overload under the Current Year Scheduling heading
  4. Print the report and notify your Guidance Director.
