Resetting Parent Password in PowerSchool

Data Specialists have the ability to reset parent passwords. This should only be used as a last resort. Parents should always first be directed to self-service options for retrieving lost usernames and forgotten passwords, so that they may become self-sufficient in the future.

1. Search or browse for the parent
2. Open the parent account.  There is only one parent screen, the Edit Parent screen
3. Type in a new password in the New Password field
4. Type in the same new password in the Confirm New Password field
5. Click the Submit button
