Exporting from PowerSchool

Exports from PowerSchool are used to move data into Excel for reporting and also when other systems need PowerSchool data.

  1. Create a selection of students by clicking or searching on the Search Students page.
  2. Click on the drop-down menu below “Select a function for this group of students”
  3. Click Quick Export
  4. In the textbox in the upper-left, type the names of the PowerSchool fields that you would like to export.
  5. Click the Submit button

Note: If you are unaware of the name of the fields that you need to export, click on the Fields link directly proceeding the Submit button.  This will bring up a list of all of the PowerSchool fields available for exporting.  It’s a very long list so try using Ctrl-F (PC) or Command-F (Mac) to perform a find command so that you may search the list.
