Navigator: Employees Won’t Be Reported Email

New hires/rehires with hire dates within the the last month will be uploaded to Navigator by the Technology department. Active employees hired greater than one month, who are not flagged as being in the Navigator system will be sent to Human Resources through an email to be manually reviewed.


For each employee on the email, one of the actions below will need to be taken.

Employees that are not actually active

  1. Open the Employee Profile in Skyward.
  2. Edit the Personnel tab under Employee.
  3. Uncheck the Active check box and follow the prompts to complete the inactivation.

Once inactive, the employee will stop appearing in the daily email.

Employees that are already in Navigator

  1. Open the Employee Profile in Skyward.
  2. Edit the Employee Info tab under Custom Forms.
  3. Check the Sent to GCG checkbox and then click Save.

This will keep the employee active in Skyward and stop the email.

Employees that are active but have inaccurate hire/rehire dates

  1. Open the Employee Profile in Skyward.
  2. Edit the Personnel tab.
  3. Update the Hire Date or Rehire Date.

If the updated hire/rehire date is within the last month, the employee will stop appearing in the email and the employee will go on the next weekly file that Technology sends to Navigator.

Employees that are active and have accurate hire/rehire dates

These employees will need to be manually entered into Navigator and then flagged in Skyward as being reported to Navigator.

  1. Login to Navigator and follow the steps to add the employee.
  2. Open the Employee Profile in Skyward.
  3. Edit the Employee Info tab under Custom Forms.
  4. Check the Sent to GCG checkbox and then click Save.
