Glenbard Passwords
A list of which passwords for staff-use systems at Glenbard.
PowerSchool – Master password
Systems that use this password:
- AirPrint
- Auth.local
- Microsoft Remote Desktop / Remote Resources
- Air Glenbard
- Skyward (users without PowerSchool should follow this guide)
The user name is the first three letters of the user’s first name, followed by the first three letters of the user’s last name. For example, if the user’s first and last name is “Joe Smith,” the user name would be “joesmi.”
Staff should change their password immediately after their first time accessing the account. To change the password, see this guide.
Google Apps SSO – Not synced with PowerSchool
Systems that use this password:
- Albert
- Frontline
- Gmail/Google Drive
- HMH Textbooks
- Khan Academy
- Overdrive
- Schoology
Please see a technician for Glenbard’s email naming convention.
Please see a technician for the default email password. Staff will be prompted to change the password after the first successful sign-in.
Staff cannot change this password after the first time. They should submit a Web Help Desk ticket for their building’s technology support team to reset the password.
Other Services – Not synced with PowerSchool
Many 3rd party websites use sign-ins that are not connected to any system at Glenbard. These include Naviance and Mastery Manager. Often, staff members are responsible for their accounts and passwords. Technicians or supervisors may have access to reset some of these passwords, but not often. If staff are unsure how to reset one of these passwords, they should create a Web Help Desk ticket for their building’s technicians.
