Student transfers-Students returning to the Glenbard Campus
Due to the ISBE requirements for student enrollment and attendance reporting students must have their Powerschool enrollment reflect where they are attending. This process applies to students transferring from an off campus location back to the home school.
The home school (APSS/Guidance Director) and Special Ed facilitator initiating the change in a student’s enrollment will notify the Data Specialist and Assistant to Special Ed facilitator that the student will be returning to Glenbard and the enrollment effective dates.
Assistant to Special Ed facilitator- Exit student enrollment using state exit code 17 (Change in serving school or FTE). You must enter an exit comment exited ‘Name of serving school’ to attend ‘home school’. Exit/enroll dates must be 1 day apart.
Assistant to Special Ed facilitator – Enter a Web Help ticket to PowerSchool admin for state reporting for the student exit in ISBE SIS system. Indicate that this is a Return to Campus transfer along with details of the transfer.
When the enrollment is exited at the state (Assistant to Special Ed facilitator will receive an email from Web Help system) the student can then be re-enrolled using state entry code 04- Transfer in from within District. Use entry comment ‘Returned to home school from serving school name’.
