Support staff positions that require subs must enter their time off in both Skyward and RedRover. After entering into Skyward you will automatically be redirected to RedRover.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>For non-teachers, their personal, sick, and vacation time is all submitted through Employee Access to be approved by a manager. \u00a0Once approved, the time is immediately reflected in Employee Access.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><strong>NOTE: If you\u00a0 have <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">COVID symptoms<\/span>, please use the Time Off Type &#8220;SICK&#8221; and Time Off Reason &#8220;Flu &#8211; Illness with flu-like symptoms&#8221;.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>In Employee Access, click the <strong>Request Time Off<\/strong> tile. <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4383\" src=\"https:\/\/docs.glenbard.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/RequestTimeOffTile.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"294\" height=\"150\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Click the <strong>Add Time Off Transaction<\/strong> button near the top-right.<\/li>\n<li>Transactions defaults to <strong>Single Day<\/strong>.\u00a0 If this is a multi-day absence change the transaction to <strong>Date Range<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select a <strong>Start Date<\/strong>.\u00a0 For multi-day absences, select an <strong>End Date<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select your <strong>Assignment<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Choose a <strong>Time Off Type<\/strong> from the drop-down: Personal, Sick, Vacation.<\/li>\n<li>From the <strong>Time Off Reason<\/strong>, drop click <strong>Used &#8211; Time Requested<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>For a <em>Partial Day\u00a0<\/em>absence, change the <strong>Hours,<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Start Time, <\/strong>and<strong> End Time<\/strong>. <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">IMPORTANT: STAFF MUST CHANGE ALL THREE FIELDS.\u00a0 Start\/End Time are informational only that let the supervisor know when staff will be out.\u00a0 The Hours field controls how much will be deducted from time off balances.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Click the <strong>Save<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4388\" src=\"https:\/\/docs.glenbard.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/Time-Off-Transactions-2020-02-25-07-12-43-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"631\" height=\"661\" \/><\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Entering Time Off Request As An Employee\" width=\"1778\" height=\"1000\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/746B3Jbp7RI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Teachers request all time off through RedRover.
