This activity is performed after PowerSchool rollover (most likely the second week of July).<\/p>\n<p>First teachers that need to be deactivated must be identified:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Choose the current year term\n<ol>\n<li>For example 2010-2011<\/li>\n<li>Do not choose a semester or quarter<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Teacher&#8217;s Schedules <\/strong>from the left hand menu\n<ol>\n<li>A list of active teachers will appear to the left (see below)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Click on a teacher<\/li>\n<li>Review the schedule\n<ol>\n<li>If there is no schedule, this teacher needs to be deactivated<\/li>\n<li>Make a note of the teachers name<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Once a list of teachers has been created, then the teachers can be deactivated:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Click on <strong>Staff Search<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Type the teacher&#8217;s last name into the search field and click the magnifying glass<\/li>\n<li>The navigation menu on the left will change.\u00a0 Click on <strong>Edit Information<\/strong> near the top<\/li>\n<li>At the bottom of the of the page change the <strong>Staff Status<\/strong> to &#8220;Not Assigned&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Next change the <strong>Status<\/strong> to &#8220;No Longer Here&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Click the <strong>Submit<\/strong> button.<a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/deactiveate%20teacher%20screen1.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-0\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-83\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/deactiveate%20teacher%20screen1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"519\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li>From the navigation menu, click on <strong>Schedule Setup<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Uncheck the box called <strong>Schedule This Teacher<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Click the <strong>Submit<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/deactiveate%20teacher%20screen2.jpg.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-1\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-84\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/deactiveate%20teacher%20screen2.jpg.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"857\" height=\"572\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Data Specialist must review teacher schedules and deactivate the [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":83,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[99],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-85","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-year-end-begin-activities"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/docs.glenbard.org\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/85","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/docs.glenbard.org\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/docs.glenbard.org\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/docs.glenbard.org\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/docs.glenbard.org\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=85"}],"version-history":[{"count":2,"href":"https:\/\/docs.glenbard.org\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/85\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":2061,"href":"https:\/\/docs.glenbard.org\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/85\/revisions\/2061"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/docs.glenbard.org\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/83"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/docs.glenbard.org\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=85"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/docs.glenbard.org\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=85"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/docs.glenbard.org\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=85"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
