<\/td>This icon (red circle with \u201c18\u201d centered) represents a student who is 18 years old and legally able to claim ownership of their educational rights. Teachers should maintain communication with parents; however, these students are able to sign for themself pertaining to field trip waivers or educational planning.<\/td><\/tr>
<\/td>This icon signifies the student has an individualized education plan (IEP) or a 504 plan. Additional information can be found in the IEP\/504s for teachers section in PowerSchool. You can also contact the special education case manager for additional information.<\/td><\/tr>
<\/td>This icon indicates that the student is a FORMER EL student. The Roman numeral indicates how long they’ve been out of our EL program. For example, a student with a Roman numeral II has been out of EL for two years.<\/td><\/tr>
<\/td>This icon represents some type of medical need<\/strong>. Additional information can be found by clicking on the icon. Familiarize yourself with this information for any student(s) with the icon. If you have any questions about the information provided, please contact the Health Office. <\/td>This icon signifies when a student is in the concussion protocol. Additional information can be found by clicking on the icon. <\/td>Though this icon is seldom used, it’s a very important one. This icon serves to notify staff of a special message about the student. When you see this \u201cshadow guy, please move your cursor over it and read the message. Many times it specifies information pertaining to custody and\/or communication home and will specify who to contact with questions. If you have any questions pertaining to this information and there is no specific person to contact, please contact the student’s school counselor or dean.<\/td><\/tr>
<\/td>This icon indicates the student receives EL (English Learner) services. Students with a globe icon are ML (Multilingual Learners). Many (but not all) of these students are in EL classes and might be relatively new to the United States. They may not speak or understand English very well. These students typically speak and understand English at a much higher proficiency level.

<\/td>One or more of these lighted “dots” signifies that a student is part of our Early Warning System. Hover over the dot, and it will indicate if this is an Attendance, Discipline, Course Failure, or Credit Deficient issue. Attendance indicates that a student has been Truant 10% or more, Discipline indicates that a student has 2 or more log entries per 30 days of attendance, Course Failure indicates that a student is failing 2 or more courses in real-time, Credit Deficiency indicates that a student is behind on graduation credits.<\/td><\/tr>
<\/td>Each Problem-Solving Team takes notes about current and past supports for students in need. This information can be extremely important when working with struggling students. You can view these notes by clicking on Communication Logs in PowerSchool.<\/td><\/tr>
