Once in History status, a Cash Receipt cannot be changed. If it was posted to the wrong day, it will need to be cloned to the correct date and reversed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Post the Cash Receipt to the New Date<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
  1. Account<\/strong> > Cash Receipt Deposit<\/strong><\/li>
  2. Find the Cash Receipt that needs an update in the list.<\/li>
  3. Click the down-arrow<\/strong> next to the record. Then click Clone<\/strong>.<\/li>
  4. Change the Deposit Number<\/strong> and Batch<\/strong> if desired. Click the Save<\/strong> button.<\/li>
  5. Click Cash Receipt Deposit Batch Update<\/strong>.<\/li>
  6. Set the Post Date<\/strong> and click Next<\/strong>.<\/li>
  7. Check the deposit and click Next<\/strong>.<\/li>
  8. Continue clicking Next until prompted to Run Process<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Reverse the Old Cash Receipt<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    1. Account<\/strong> > Cash Receipt Deposit<\/strong><\/li>
    2. Find the Cash Receipt that needs an update in the list.<\/li>
    3. Click the down-arrow<\/strong> next to the record. Then click Clone<\/strong>.<\/li>
    4. Check the box labeled Create as Reversing Batch<\/strong>.<\/li>
    5. Change the Deposit Number<\/strong> and Batch<\/strong> if desired. Click the Save<\/strong> button.<\/li>
    6. Click Cash Receipt Deposit Batch Update<\/strong>.<\/li>
    7. Set the Post Date<\/strong> and click Next<\/strong>.<\/li>
    8. Check the deposit and click Next<\/strong>.<\/li>
