This is only available to nursing staff.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>To get there:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Select a student.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Health<\/strong> under the <strong>Information<\/strong> heading on the left side.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the <strong>Screenings<\/strong> tab if it is not already selected.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The screening type, date, and a comment for all of the student&#8217;s screenings are listed in table on this page.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To add a new screening visit, click the <strong>Add Screening<\/strong> button in the upper-right, and then click on the type of screening to add.<\/li>\n<li>To update old screening, click the <strong>pencil<\/strong> button at the right of that particular screening.<\/li>\n<li>To delete an old screening, click the <strong>red minus<\/strong> button at the right of that particular screening.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Whether a screening is being added, updated, or deleted, a warning will appear stating that your changes have not been saved.<a class=\"linkthumb modal\" href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Changes%20Not%20Saved.jpeg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"lightbox[id_0]\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Adding\/Updating Screening Records:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When a new screening is added, the following fields will automatically fill in, however these can be updated if necessary:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>Provider Name<\/strong> will be set to the current PowerSchool user.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>Provider Type<\/strong> will set to School Nurse.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>Screening Date<\/strong> will default to the current date.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>Grade Level <\/strong>(at the time of screening) will default to the student&#8217;s current grade out the <strong>Vision and Color <\/strong>fields as needed:\n<ol>\n<li>Vision Referral Date<\/li>\n<li>Left Eye Test Result<\/li>\n<li>Right Eye Test Result<\/li>\n<li>Color Blind Test Result (leave blank if not taken)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>For completed referrals, locate the <strong>Referral Outcome<\/strong> section at the bottom of the window and choose a diagnosis.<\/li>\n<li>Click the <strong>Add\/Update<\/strong> button<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-590\"
