The teachers will have the ability to make their own breaks. There may be a time when a schedule needs to be checked or modified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Assigning Teachers\/Staff a room<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li> Log into <a href=\"http:\/\/powerptc.net\/powerptc\/protected\/index\">PowerPTC<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Configure<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Meeting Places<\/strong> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Search for the teacher\/staff<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the teacher\/staff does not appear, click the plus icon<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fill out the following fields<ul><li>Room<\/li><li>Floor number (1,2,3,4,5,6,7)<\/li><li>Sector set to 0<\/li><li>Location<\/li><\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Teacher<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click Advanced<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the <strong>ALL<\/strong> meeting types used this year<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Set default to Video Conference<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click Add<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If additional settings are needed, continue to the section<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Adjusting Teacher settings\/schedule<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There are many settings that can be managed to help to schedule. This is where adjustments to schedules and rooms can be made. There is a list option below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Log into <a href=\"http:\/\/ptc.net\/powerptc\/protected\/index\">PowerPTC<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Configure<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click Meeting Places<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Search for the teacher\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If the teacher does not appear click the <strong>Add for All Teachers<\/strong> button<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the edit (<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"32\" height=\"33\" class=\"wp-image-4164\" style=\"width: 32px;\" src=\"https:\/\/docs.glenbard.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/PowerPTCedit.png\" alt=\"\">) button<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Below is a description of the different options<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>General\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Room &#8211; Where the conference will meet<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Room Description<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Floor Number &#8211; do not adjust<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Floor Description<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Section &#8211; Do not adjust<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Location &#8211; Which building this room in<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Teacher &#8211; Which teacher it is assigned to<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advanced\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open Scheduling &#8211; If marked allows any student to schedule a conference with this teacher. For example Counselors, Psychologists, Deans, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open Scheduling Description<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Meeting Length multiplier<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Break Request &#8211; This will display what the teachers have requested for breaks.  These requests will be converted to breaks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Live Schedule &#8211; Displays the current schedule.
