This means many contacts need to be consolidated into a single contact. Luckily, PowerSchool has a function to consolidate contacts.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to PowerSchool<\/li>\n<li>Select Active students<\/li>\n<li>Click the Contact tab<\/li>\n<li>Uncheck <strong>Only Show Access Accounts<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Check\u00a0<strong>Filter by Current Student Selection<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Select a letter\n<ul>\n<li>Looking at all the contacts at once will take a very long time to load<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Look through the list of contacts and find any contacts that share the same name and similar contact information\n<ul>\n<li>Please ignore all contacts that are marked <em>Access Account<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Increasing the number at the bottom will make it easier to review the contacts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Once a duplicate contact found, Click\u00a0<strong>Select by Hand<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Checkboxes are maintained between pages<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/docs.glenbard.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/combiningContacts.png\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-0\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-3948\" src=\"https:\/\/docs.glenbard.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/combiningContacts-300x277.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"277\" srcset=\"https:\/\/docs.glenbard.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/combiningContacts-300x277.png 300w, https:\/\/docs.glenbard.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/combiningContacts.png 727w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Select\u00a0<strong>Consolidate Contacts<\/strong> under the select function<\/li>\n<li>Select the <em>Master<\/em>.
