{"id":243,"date":"2012-10-11T13:45:19","date_gmt":"2012-10-11T13:45:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/psws.glenbard.org\/index.php\/2012\/10\/11\/send-conflicts-to-counselors\/"},"modified":"2016-02-05T08:52:35","modified_gmt":"2016-02-05T14:52:35","slug":"send-conflicts-to-counselors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/docs.glenbard.org\/index.php\/ps-2\/admin-ps\/scheduling\/send-conflicts-to-counselors\/","title":{"rendered":"Send Conflicts to Counselors"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"nolwrap\"><p>The Data Specialists will generate a report of conflicts that can be sent to the counselors so that the counselors may follow-up with the students to adjust the following year&#8217;s schedule.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>On the left side, click <strong>PowerScheduler<\/strong> under <strong>Applications<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Reports<\/strong> under <strong>Tools<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>First a <strong>Conflict Matrix<\/strong> will be exported and then <strong>Conflicting Students Lists<\/strong> can be run<br \/>\n<a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/conflicts%201.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-0\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-238\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/conflicts%201.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"411\" height=\"211\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>(1) Generate a Conflict Matrix<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>From the Scheduling Reports, click <strong>Conflict Matrix Export<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Use the following settings in the Conflcit Matrix Export\n<ol>\n<li>Students to Include = All #### students in this school next year<\/li>\n<li>Output Form = Tab-Delimited<\/li>\n<li>Identify Course by = Course Numbers<\/li>\n<li>Include Courses = All Courses (for both Across Top and Along Side)<a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/conflicts%202.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-1\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-239\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/conflicts%202.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"496\" height=\"635\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Click the <strong>Submit<\/strong> button<\/li>\n<li>Open the resulting export in Excel.<\/li>\n<li>The number in the cells where a column and row intersect represent the number of conflicts for those two courses.
