The Data Specialists will generate a report of conflicts that can be sent to the counselors so that the counselors may follow-up with the students to adjust the following year’s schedule.<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. On the left side, click PowerScheduler<\/strong> under Applications<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Click Reports<\/strong> under Tools<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. First a Conflict Matrix<\/strong> will be exported and then Conflicting Students Lists<\/strong> can be run
    \n\"\"<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    (1) Generate a Conflict Matrix<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. From the Scheduling Reports, click Conflict Matrix Export<\/strong><\/li>\n
    2. Use the following settings in the Conflcit Matrix Export\n
        \n
      1. Students to Include = All #### students in this school next year<\/li>\n
      2. Output Form = Tab-Delimited<\/li>\n
      3. Identify Course by = Course Numbers<\/li>\n
      4. Include Courses = All Courses (for both Across Top and Along Side)\"\"<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
      5. Click the Submit<\/strong> button<\/li>\n
      6. Open the resulting export in Excel.<\/li>\n
      7. The number in the cells where a column and row intersect represent the number of conflicts for those two courses. (See the screenshot below.\u00a0 In this example there are 9 student conflicts between AR2013 and AR2213)\"\"<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        (2) Run Conflicting Students Lists
        \n<\/strong><\/p>\n

          \n
        1. For each set of courses with conflicts run a Conflicing Students List<\/li>\n
        2. From the Scheduling Reports screen, click Conflicting Students List<\/strong><\/li>\n
        3. Click the first Associate<\/strong> button to bring up a list of courses<\/li>\n
        4. Click on the course that has conflicts and click the Submit<\/strong> button<\/li>\n
        5. Repeat steps 3-4 for the second course in conflict\"\"<\/a><\/li>\n
        6. After both courses have been selected click the Submit<\/strong> button<\/li>\n
        7. This will generate a list of students with conflicts<\/li>\n
        8. Copy the list of students from this page or use the Functions Menu<\/strong> to export the list<\/li>\n
        9. Send the conflicting students to the counselors<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
