How to add printers to your Mac<\/span><\/h2>\n

1. Open System Preferences <\/b>from the Apple menu in the upper-left.<\/b><\/p>\n

2. Click on Print & Fax<\/b>.<\/p>\n

3. Click the \u201c+<\/b>\u201d button at the bottom of the printer list.<\/span><\/p>\n

4. Click on the IP<\/b> button at the top of the Add Printer menu.<\/p>\n

5. Type in IP address of the printer in the Address field and click Add.<\/b><\/p>\n

How to add printers to your PC<\/span><\/h2>\n

1. Click on the Start Menu<\/b> in the bottom left corner of the screen and go to \u201cDevices and Printers<\/b>\u201d<\/p>\n

2. Click \u201cAdd a Printer<\/b>\u201d<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

3. Select \u201cAdd a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer<\/b>\u201d then click \u201cNext<\/b>\u201d<\/p>\n

4. Select the desired printer and click \u201cNext<\/b>\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

5. Windows will install the needed drivers. When this is complete click \u201cFinish<\/b>\u201d in the bottom right of the window.<\/p>\n

6. If the desired printer does not appear select \u201cThe printer that I want isn\u2019t listed\u201d<\/p>\n

7. Select \u201cAdd a printer using a TCP\/IP address or hostname\u201d and click \u201cNext<\/b>\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

8. Type in the IP address (some form of 10.X.X.X which should be provided by your building’s Technicians) of the printer and click \u201cNext<\/b>\u201d<\/p>\n

9. The printer should be found and Windows will download and install the needed drivers for the printer.<\/p>\n

10. Click \u201cNext<\/b>\u201d when this completes.<\/p>\n
