Student Course assignments (student courses and grades earned) are uploaded to ISBE SIS<\/p>\n

at the end\u00a0of each grading\u00a0<\/span>semester by the\u00a0<\/span>Admin for state reporting at the district level. Any<\/span><\/p>\n

registrar grade\u00a0<\/span>changes or additions (Student enrolls\u00a0<\/span>with a transcript from another school district<\/span><\/p>\n

outside<\/em> of Illinois or a private school)\u00a0<\/span>must\u00a0<\/span>be uploaded to ISBE SIS. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Outside course assignments need an active enrollment to be entered. Student course assignments just need an enrollment with the same home and serving RCDTS and within the enrollment dates. But can be exited.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Prepare an excel file of students\/course assignments for upload. \u00a0Sort the file by school<\/p>\n

year\/term\u00a0\/glenbard\u00a0<\/span>earned grade. \u00a0<\/span>ALL student course assignments for the selected <\/span><\/p>\n

student\/school year\/term\u00a0<\/span>will be submitted to ISBE,\u00a0<\/span>not just\u00a0<\/span>the course with a grade change.<\/span><\/p>\n

Each unique school year\/term\/glenbard earned grade sort will become a batch which can contain <\/span><\/p>\n

multiple\u00a0<\/span>student numbers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Select a single student number or select multiple\u00a0student_numbers from your worksheet for your batch in the Powershool search box:<\/span><\/p>\n

Run the student course assignment report in Powerschool.<\/p>\n

\/system reports\/state reports\/IL student course assignment (you can navigate to the<\/span><\/p>\n

state report once and\u00a0<\/span>bookmark the page on your browser for quick way to run the report).<\/span><\/p>\n

The report will be in the report que. \u00a0The file is in .txt format. Open file and save or right click on the word<\/p>\n

‘view’ and save as to your computer.<\/p>\n

Note the filename.txt \u00a0<\/strong>which you will need to know after the batch processing is complete.<\/span><\/p>\n

Upload the file to ISBE SIS<\/p>\n

Login to ISBE SIS\/System Listing<\/p>\n

Select the Student Information System<\/p>\n

You will receive an email from ISBE when your batch processing is complete. \u00a0In ISBE SIS choose batch<\/p>\n

file\/download to find your batch results.<\/p>\n

Your result file will open in .txt format. Each course assignment record that was submitted\u00a0will have a <\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>result code and comment. <\/span>If you have errors you must re-run the batch and re-submit\u00a0<\/span>the student<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
