Blanket Purchase Orders
This process should be followed for requesting a blank purchase order.
Note: You no longer need to enter blank POs for Office Depot. Check out the eCommerce Purchase Orders article.
- Click the Purchasing menu.
- Click on My Requisitions.
- Click the Add button.
- Check the box labled This is a Blanket Requisition/Purchase Order
- Click the Save and Add Detail button.
- Because this a blanket PO, the quantity is greyed out. Type an Amount and Description
- Click the Save button.
- Add requisition accounts normally and submit the requisition or save it for later use.
Q: I need to add more money to my blanket purchase order. What do I do?
A: You will receive an email when you blanket PO has been used up. Wait until you receive that email. Then create a new blanket PO.
