Blanket Purchase Orders

This process should be followed for requesting a blank purchase order.

Note: You no longer need to enter blank POs for Office Depot.  Check out the eCommerce Purchase Orders article.

  1. Click the Purchasing menu.
  2. Click on My Requisitions.
  3. Click the Add button.
  4. Check the box labled This is a Blanket Requisition/Purchase Order
  5. Click the Save and Add Detail button.
  6. Because this a blanket PO, the quantity is greyed out.  Type an Amount and Description
  7. Click the Save button.
  8. Add requisition accounts normally and submit the requisition or save it for later use.

 

Q: I need to add more money to my blanket purchase order.  What do I do?

A: You will receive an email when you blanket PO has been used up.  Wait until you receive that email.  Then create a new blanket PO.
