Adding a Student to Posterita

Students are imported to Posterita every Friday.  If a new student needs to make a purchase before they are imported, the sales person can manually add the student to the customer database.  The PowerSchool record will overwrite the Posterita record with address, phone, etc.

  1. Click the () button at the top.
  2. Click on Customers
  3. Click the Add Customer button 
  4. On the Details tab, fill in:
    1. Name
    2. Email Address (the student’s ID followed by @glenbard.org)  The system will use this to sync with PowerSchool.
    3. Customer ID (student’s ID)
  5. Click the Credit Management tab:
    1. Check the box Do you want to allow credit for this customer?
    2. Set the Authorized credit amount to 5000
    3. Select Add to Account from the drop-down
  6. Click the Save button in the upper-right.

[Note: The country and state should have values filled in automatically.  If they do not, choose any country and state.  They will be updated via the PowerSchool import.]
